After about 10 minutes of driving on 1604 westbound just past I-10, the truck lost acceleration. The truck would not accelerate past 24 mph while at 3,000 RPM. The transmission would not shift gears. Eventually, I came to a complete stop, changed gears from (D)rive to (P)ark and then shift back to (D)rive. The truck was ok after that. However, this is the second time the truck has had this problem. Has anyone had this type of problem? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
