Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster (so take it easy on me). Also, apologies in advance if this isn’t in the right section….

After dreaming and drooling over these 5th Gen Rams since they came out, I’m finally getting close to pulling the trigger on one & am searching for a gently used ‘23-‘24. Have three pressing questions at the moment:

1) Were there just hardly any Limited Longhorns sold in MY ‘23-‘24, or are people just not letting them go? In all my searches online, I don’t think I’ve seen a single one unless I’m accidentally filtering them out…

2) Are there any ‘real world’ pics of the Indigo/Sea Salt interior in the wild that people can share?? I would prefer something other than black interior, but I’m nervous about the indigo because I read somewhere where someone described it as being more purple. I haven’t food why locally that I could see in person yet.

3) Lastly, on a Limited, does the Off Road Group automatically change the wheels from 22” to 20”? Or, if I want 20s, should I be searching for something else??

Thanks for any help and the patience if these are total noob questions!

I dont know about ORG, sorry.

Yes there were Longhorns, maybe the “take” numbers were less, also a 23’ is still quite recent to trade off. Only cash strapped peeps like me have done so.
Carmax has 12 online:

Used 2021-2023 Ram 1500 Longhorn. 12 Matches

My 19’ had the indigo, its a creamish color, we thought it looked good, but the ratio of black to indigo was like 10:1 that I saw on the lots.

I had thought that all Longhorns were that color. That's all I saw in 2019 anyway. A website says the 23's have just black/brown:
RAM 1500 Limited Longhorn Interior Options:

  • Natura Plus Filigree Leather Seats – Black and Cattle Tan

Thanks Bud, that’s really helpful. I guess just the fact that I was limiting my search to 23+ was keeping me from seeing the Longhorns.

That indigo doesn’t look bad at all. I especially think it would look better with the Patriot blue exterior, which is my favorite. I was just afraid it would be more purple!

That is my favorite interior combo, but Longhorns are proving hard to find in Used 23’s!

I would be careful with those white/indigo seats my wife’s Pacifica has similar interior and new jeans or other materials will trade ink off onto the seats.

On the 20-22” question I’m not sure I would think ORG would come standard with 20’s but I would not think a “off road group” package run 22’s.

We were warned about dye (denim) transfer back when I bought my 2019, but it never happened. Probably has something to do with different jeans/denim brands.
I leather conditioned them just in case but in the year and a half that we owned it, no problems.

That’s fair………..

I can help on #2. We wanted something other than black as well and were torn between the indigo and saddle. Once we saw the indigo we were sold. Here his our truck in the showroom.

When we showed it to family most didn’t even notice that it was “blue”. I have noticed the outer edges of the driver and passenger seat getting a little dirty but so far they have been easy to clean with basic interior detailing products I have on hand. We have had our truck almost a year now and no regrets picking this interior.
