2023 1500 2.5” Mammoth Leveling Kit

So I just installed a Mammoth 2.5” leveling kit to my ‘23 Big Horn and I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on the ball joints if I don’t upgrade the UCA’s. I know that they’re what tend to go out with anything larger than a 2” lift. Posted pics for reference. Just wanted to see what everyone’s thoughts were on how it could end up without an upgrade to the UCA’s

Upper control arm/ball joint went today

2021 Ram, ball joint and upper control arm went today. Unbelievably lucky because I was backing into a parking spot but 1 minute before was doing 70 on the turnpike. I love this truck but what the hell, at 45k??? I baby this thing. Even the dealership doesn’t think the 2 inch leveling kit has...

…. Go ahead and save yourself a few hundred bucks and keep the stock control arms now and hopefully doesn’t cost you in the end on a what $40k+ truck. Mopar ORP control arms stupid cheap.

Edit: hopefully doesn’t come off as harsh but if you can afford one of these trucks you can afford to replace the control arms with at least the Mopar ORP control arms and save yourself a potential problem.
