2022 Ram 3500 6.7 Cab & Chassis Downpipe leak

Hi everyone. I tried to find an answer to my question but couldn't. I have a problem with exhaust leaking from the Downpipe flex pipe PN 68259652AC, the dealer sells it for $1000, I know you can just cut out the flex parts and replace them with new ones, you just need to weld them on and that's it, so instead of paying thousands of dollars it can be fixed for 2, 3, 4 hundred. has anyone had experience with this? thanks!
