Hey Guys I’m looking to get a 2022-23 Ram 1500 Limited with the E-Torque, roughly anywhere from 15k-30k miles on it and was wondering what I should look out for and check before buying the truck and also what kinds of car options should I consider getting for the truck? Thanks!

I have a 23 Ltd and can't say there is anything to look out for. Maybe search a CPO if you could find one.
Otherwise you are still within the purchase timeframe for an extended factory warranty through Zieglers or Granger.

There is a thread right now about the extended warranty on a pre-owned truck from Granger....

Definitely include those with extended warranty as a factor for consideration. Good luck

2023 is the first year for all digital dash I believe.
As far as options, 100% opinion and you’ll hear plenty.

You are either a rambox guy or you’re not. I am, and love ‘em. I wish they still made the ram box in 6’4 beds like I had on my 2015. They don’t. They keep the cab of the truck clutter free…and it’s nice to throw dirty crap in them like tow hitches, etc.
With Ramboxes you get cargo management as well. Moveable tie down hooks…but honestly, the bed divider is the key. I use it all the time, it’s nice to secure cargo in the back and not have to worry about it sliding forward.

I opted for the MFT. It’s a game changer. Not having to lean over your tailgate to get into your truck is awesome.

I opted for the night edition. I had a Laramie (08) and Limited (15) prior…and wanted to change it up from Chrome.. and the black trim really sets off the color.
Either 22 or 23 should have the LED lights.. really help my aging eyes at night!

Pano roof is nice, gives you a lot of light and makes the cabin feel even roomier.
On my second limited, and I don’t think there is a better ride in a half ton truck than the 4 corner air that comes standard in the Limited and up trim package.

Mine has Heads up display which is nice as well.

The options I mentioned were what I was looking for, I found a truck nearby on a lot that had them all, including a new color I was looking to go with (Patriot Blue) and on top of that, it was a dealer demo so I save a few K from that as well.

Good luck, happy hunting!

Yep, opinions on options vary.
I looked for no pano sunroof, I wanted the level 1, 4x and the 33 gallon tank. Mine came with the 3.90 gears and anti-spin, I didn’t care on gears vs the 3.21 as I don’t tow anymore. Mine had a trailer brake controller and standard mirrors. Fairly plain for a Limited, kept the price down.

If I could have ordered one I’d have specced the 3.21 gears like my 19’ had. The hemi and 8 speed have plenty of power for non-towing with 3.21.

I’m with Will Work. Yes, the 3.92 has better off the line, off the light acceleration. But frankly… I’m enjoying the easy cruising and a little bit better MPG with the 3.21. More than enough power for whatever I use it for… :)
I will say.
The factory Pirellis on the 22” rims are junk for anything other than dry pavement…
Any hint of wet, or snow… they’re terrible. At 19K on my truck, and I keep air pressure perfect, don’t beat on my truck, and keep it aligned, I’m doubtful the tires will make it to 25K miles…

I have 15K on mine but they aren’t even a third worn. May upgrade to a PXL series all terrain but wont go up to an AT tire due to no need, weight increase and getting lowered fuel mileage. Since I don't off road or tow anymore, just don’t need it.

You’re a lucky man :). These Pirelli Scorpion Verde’s don’t even have a mileage warranty… just like the Goodyears in 20”..

Oems are often specced out to just squeak by… You probably are closer to the average on mileage.
I drive on the white or yellow painted lines, depending on which way I'm going. There is less rolling resistance that way. 😮🤣
