June 4th 2025 the local dealership did a recall update to my 2022 Etorque 1500 RAM Bighorn. A couple days after the update I noticed when I changed the AC temp the normal screen showing the temp you set on the left and right of the screen was gone and on the left side a blue and red bar was now showing. I noticed when I started the truck the screen would say it was loading and I would drive several blocks before the menu screen would show up. This had not happened before. I was not able to get to the dealership for a couple fo days due to work. During that time I noticed a message that came up on the screen saying I needed to park the truck due to ABS issues. I went to the dealership and they said it was errors on the screen but the truck was fine to drive. They said the issue would have to be fixed by a high level tech which only shows up in our area once every couple of months and they would schedule a meeting with the tech and notify me when this person was available. I have stopped by the dealership several times asking when this tech will be available with not a good response. In the meantime the battery has died and the check engine light has come on so I went to a local advance auto to have the battery tested after I jumped off the truck to get it to start. The person at Advance checked the check enigine light issue and their reader came up with several codes all saying Computer is unable to communicate with the vehicle. While the Advance worker was standing there the Brake light message came up on the screen as if I had set the parking brake even though I had not touched anything. He said he would not change out the battery because it appears the truck is not complely shutting down when you turn it off and that it would just drain the next battery. I went back to the dealership today to tell them to get me a rental to use until they get this fixed. The mechanic said they were in touch with the traveling mechanic and he would call me back later today with the results, He suggested replacing the radio to fix the problem and they were going to have their inhouse mechanic do the radio swap and this would fix the problem. I would like comments from the group if they have seen this issue before and is the swapping out the radio a correct fix or are they just putting a bandaid on it? I have a theory but not sure if this could happen. What if the update they uploaded was from a different lower version of my truck like a basic model versus the etorque version could this be the problem? What would you do. I obviously don't trust the dealership at this point. I look forward to the groups suggestions Thank you
