Just purchased a new to me 2022 Laramie, someone already cracked one of my tail lights so I want to replace. After reading some posts it seems like BSM was deleted for 2022. Looking at eBay for a replacement since new from dealer prices are insane.
2 questions:
Is there any easy way to know for sure if I do not have it?
Can I get a tail light that has BSM without actually having the feature on the truck?

Thank you

The easy way to know if you have it or not, is to look at the side mirrors. Do you have the little triangle?

And yes, you should be able to install a BSM taillight on a non-BSM truck.

If the truck has at least package 1, it has blind spot. Only stripped Laramies don't.

During the chip shortage, they deleted it from some lower packages and trims.

Yeah, they screwed themselves pretty bad then. It was there own fault, and probably still didn't correct any thing.
