2021 v6 starter solenoid just spinning

Hey everyone. Looking for some help with my Dads new truck. Just signed up because I can't find anything online.

My Dads 2021 Ram V6 is not starting sometimes. The solenoid will spin but won't actually crank the engine. The dealer replaced the starter already and it is still doing it.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Brad

Strange. Solenoids don’t spin tho they are just likes relay. They supply voltage to the starter. Sounds like the bendix isn’t kicking out and engaging with the flex plate. Assuming these starters work like other transitional starters. Not sure.
I’d go back to the dealer and tell them they didn’t fix the problem. Let us know the outcome I’m curious.
