2021 Laramie won't shift into Park

When I left for work today we had snow on the ground. I put my truck into 4hi to test it out and see how slick it was. After a few blocks I stopped at a stop sign and tried flipping it over to park and it wouldn't go. I have a check engine warning on the dash now. I did move out of 4hi over to 2hi. Truck only has 2000 miles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.


little more info.....I went ahead and drove into work. Doesn't seem like anything is out of whack other than won't go into park. I left the truck in neutral, with the parking brake on, and pulled the positive cable on the terminal. Didn't know if the warnings were going to shut down.

hmmm...why did you just pull the pos term? pull neg and pos, touch them together, then leave disconnected for a while,( maybe an hour). That should reset ECM. Maybe before that though. Start the truck back up, select 4WL..and drive it a few feet to sort of "bump" the drive train, come to a stop, then select 2WH...drive a few more feet, than stop and try to shift into park. I know everything these days is electric vs. linkage, but there are still moving parts involved, so you never know, something might be hung up.
