2020 Ram - wireless carplay options?

I have a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie. So annoyed that it doesnt have wireless carplay built in.

The USB ports under my touchscreen are VERY fidgety and if I have something plugged into them they may or may not read the device (and if anything even touches the cables lightly it looses the connection). Does anyone else have this issue?

Also, is there a good option for installing a 3rd party bluetooth for wireless carplay that anyone has tried and liked?

Well, I was running one of those boxes on UC4, it performed very well. Of course split screen, but I was happy with it. Now, I updated to UC5 and guess what, Box would not run on UC5. Went on a hunt for a new box and found this. I thought if it does not work, I just send it back, no harm no foul.

That goes for just about any USB I've seen on a car, just lightly touch it and it looses connection.

I would just use a Carplay dongle, so many on Amazon, they all generally work great, then double side tape it so it's secure. I would also get a USB on/off switch, since the power/data port under your screen is live for at least an hour after shut-down, that will prevent you from getting those "trying to connect" messages or unplugging the USB every time you leave.

Tip: if you haven't used a dongle before, remember they all connect by Bluetooth, not Wifi, even though it will show up on your Wifi. Use your Bluetooth settings to connect the first time you install it.
