2020 Ram 1500 electric parking brake

so I replaced the rear brake pads on my 2020 Ram 1500 today. I had one of the calipers off before I disabled the parking brake. I pulled the motor off that caliper, and worked the piston back in. I reassemble everything, but now I can't activate the parking brake. When I try, it runs thru several messages and also tells me it can't reactivate if the vehicle is moving (which it is not). I did disconnect the battery for about a half hour and re-tried to no avail. I am not a mechanically ignorant person, but I may be a little 'outdated'. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
