I have a 2019 5th gen Limited. 4wd was acting up, did not want to engage. a couple nights later, turned a corner, a big bang, and rear drive tire loped off the ground. took out rear diff. Replaced rear diff, seals bearings, everything except ring and pinion and axles. replaced front passenger cv axle at same time as boot was torn. removed transfer case, it had a few fresh shavings sitting on gear components, but nothing in oil. replaced front actuator, which i believe was not faulty. replaced transfer case motor next.
let me back up a second. After install of rearend and transfer case, drove it 130 miles home and back to work. all was good. Decided to try 4wd. rolling on gravel i pushed 4H, just flashed no stop. put it back into 2wd mode, light stopped flashing. When i got to work i put it into N and pushed 4L, flashed, no actuation, however, i could hear transfercase motor trying to actuate. pushed 2H, would not come out of 4L flash. I then attempted to put it into 4H, now both 4L and 4H are flashing, Emergency brake stays on, and if i put it into D or R, i can manually disengage Ebrake, but when moving the truck wont shift out of 1st gear, which tells me it thinks it is still in 4L? I am now leaning toward TCCM? honestly I have too much money into this at this point, was no Christmas. Anyone have any other hints that may help? i was wondering also if the mechanism inside transfer case that shift motor connects into could have broke? chain and operation of shafts seemed fully functional, but not sure about the smaller components that the motor actuates..

Bummer! I had similar issues that led to the dealer diagnosing a bad TCCM. Maybe this thread of my experience will help you to see the symptoms of my bad TCCM:
