Hello, this is my first Dodge Ram truck, I specifically wanted a regular cab, 8' box, Hemi engine 4X4.. Tradesman, new. I have both keys, I've purchased two 68033740AA keys for the truck, and I've tried to program them, however it's not working.thems the new 2019 Tradesman trucks have a different program instructions??
I cut both new keys and they work the doors fine. This is the program instructions I found on the internet.
" To add additional keys to your vehicle:
1. Insert the first valid FOBIK or POD key into the ignition and turn the ignition on for more than 3 seconds but less than 15 seconds. Turn the ignition off and remove the first key.
2. Within 15 seconds, use the second valid FOBIK or POD key to turn the ignition to on. After 10 seconds a chime will sound and the theft alarm light will begin to flash. Turn the ignition to off and remove the second valid FOBIK or POD key.
3. Insert the new invalid key into the ignition and turn the ignition to on within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds a single chime will sound. The theft alarm light will stop flashing, then it will turn on for 3 seconds; then it will turn off.
The new FOBIK or POD key has been validated and will be able to start the vehicle. If it was a FOBIK then the remote will now operate the keyless entry system.
Repeat this procedure for up to 8 keys. "
