Today I noticed a hissing noise when pressing the brake pedal on my 2019 Ram 2500. I haven’t been able to track down the exact source of the noise yet.
After reading through some forum posts, I saw that many people report hearing the hissing sound coming from under the dash. In my case, however, it seems like it’s coming more from underneath the truck.
I also came across mentions of a cracked Teflon-lined hose or tube assembly causing similar issues. However, most of those posts appear to be from much older model years—around 2010 or earlier.
Does anyone know if this issue was addressed in the newer models? Is it still something worth checking into? Has anyone else with a 2019+ Ram 2500 experienced this?
Any input would be appreciated—just trying to figure out where to start. Thanks in advance!
