Nav in Hawaii? Turn when you hit the water lol, but seriously, aside from finding a whole new unit with nav, I think you are out of luck. It can’t just be added to the current unit in your truck. I believe the nav and non nav are actually made by 2 completely different companies even.

Also, you have 2 threads going on the same subject, please delete the other one.

Thank you for all your help i'm new at all this stuff but i believe the second thread that i put on by accident has been deleted I guess I'll have to look into replacing the whole Uconnect unit i'm sure that's going to be costly, thanks again

Finally, a post i truly know about : ) No one can work a truck deal better than me - NO ONE : ) it MIGHT be costly, but i have traded out of RAMS that were as little as 3 months old and NOT taken as big a hit as one might think. (And more importantly, i never ONCE regretted a payment that went from say high 6's 's to high 7's. to get the truck i SHOULD have first been in in the FIRST place : ) I mean, when the payments are that high anyway, what's another 50-100 bucks a month (And the older you are, the MORE easily it is to justify : ) Once i traded out of brand new car back to a RAM, and my payment even went down 45 bucks : )

How much higher the note will be depends on several factors, the main one being HOW good a deal you got on the current one, if he is willing to "properly price it" and not try to "rip ur head off", IF you transferred any negative equity to this new truck, what interest rate you qualify for, AND if you can put down a couple of thousand. If your dealer is as hungry as most, he can easily make this happen, and its in his interest to do so, he moves another unit and gets a 2019 on his used car lot, its WIN WIN for him....Now might sound $$$$, but if you are SERIOUSLY considering finding someone to "install something that has NEVER been done", you're prolly looking at a whole lot of cash, not to mention warranty voids and possible malfunctions.

Quite frankly, if you want it THAT bad, i would definitely get some numbers from the dealer..Tell him FIRST it would be with NOTHING down...Its advisable to ask to speak DIRECTLY to Sales Mgr, tell him you're only "thinking of this as an option IF he can work you a "killer deal" you'd be persuaded to do it"... No dealer will hit you with their ABSOLUTE best price IF they think you will pay their WORST : ) So no matter what, don't let on that you almost, "can't live with the radio without NAV", just say you are curious if this MIGHT be an option... It wouldn't hurt for you to find ANOTHER option that you wish you'd gotten, so he knows you're "serious but not desperate" - not many would trade out of a truck just missing NAV but i would /am :) its just THAT bad a system!

Since RAMS are so high discounted right now, i guarantee you there's a truck deal to your liking with some numbers you can live with in there! I don't know the specifics of ur truck, but just on average, he will sell a used 2019 for about 3-5000 cheaper than a new one after all current discounts, so the number you are after is 3-5000 under THAT....Ex 60 sticker/50 sales price/he would sell on lot for 47 should put approx 42 in a vehicle that stickered for 60

Just Don't calculate the EXTRA cost at end of term or you won't do it, but if you look at it monthly its EASILY worth it : )

I am prolly the forum's #1 complainer about this "watered down Sirius system" that came on my Black Beauty , and as much as i love my truck and it being only 2 months old, i will trade out of it as soon as i find a black appearance Big Horn equipped exactly like the one i got but WITH Nav & this time i'll get the LED's, since last time there wasn't one available for miles upon miles, now i have the truck, i can be more patient waiting for the EXACT same one only BETTER : )

(and if anyone is thinking "u should have just gotten a Laramie" i thought about it but i just can't stand "them wheels or them fender flares" :)
