Just picked up a 2019 Ram 1500 and noticed something that is driving me nuts. Anytime I turn and my weight ****s in the driver’s seat, it seems to pop. This is in a non-electric seat, with manual adjustments.
Tried to read up about it and it seems like I could possibly have slack in my seat frame, resulting in the “pop” noise. From what I’ve read the best and only way to fix the problem is to replace the seat.
Are there any cheaper ways to fix this problem? Since I’m not experienced in this, is replacing the seat difficult? Lastly, if seat replacement is the only option, where should I look for one?
Thanks for any insight!
