I cracked an outer lens on my passenger side tail light. Guess what? You don't simply buy a new housing or replacement lens. The whole assembly is one sealed unit. There are no replaceable bulbs. The whole unit is an assembly of circuit boards with surface mounted LEDs. Basically, if you have one or more defective bulbs you have to buy an entire unit! The MOPAR price on my unit was $1,275.00. The best price I found for a new OEM unit from a dealer was around $815.00 I did find a mint one on ebay for $390. which looked and worked perfect. I did disassemble the old one to see what was inside. The main tail light wiring from the truck plugs in to a multi-pin plug on the back of the tail light assembly. The individual LED boards in the unit have plugs that would make it possible to remove and replace individual boards. The outer lens cover is held in place with some type of thin, dry sealant. I was able to pry it apart by carefully and slowly prying it apart with a thin, flat blade screwdriver. You can replace the blind spot sensor fairly easily because it is accessible from the back of the unit by removing a couple of T15 Torx screws.
