Just got my 1500 Bighorn truck on Saturday and filled up with gas for the first time and the gas nozzle got stuck in gas tank filler? It was really stuck and I couldn’t get it out, finally came out after fighting with it.....Is there a known issue with the cap less fillers on the 2019’s? Any insights would be helpful....

Just been experiencing the same thing since I took it over to California nozzle locks on seems like it has to do with the fume exhaust... Seems like I have to push the nozzle in for it to release... Did not experience it back in texas

Same thing here last night. This was the 4th time refueling since I got it, so it doesn't happen all the time. When the kid put the nozzle in (I live in New Jersey, where you can't pump your own), it made a sound like he was forcing it in. It was likely the flap. It took a while to get it out. I pushed the handle toward the truck, twisted and pulled and finally came out. Frustrating!

I for one, miss my gas cap. Yes, it's something else to deal with, but you have to work really hard not to dribble gas down the side of the truck. With an open fill tube, you can "tap" the nozzle against the filler neck to get the last few drops out before you withdraw it. With the spring loaded flap, it's really difficult to do.

I have filled up plenty of times (11,700+miles). Mine got hung up on a wonky handle spring once. I've had capless gas tank vehicles since 2008. I now hate having to deal with caps like my Jeep has.
