There is a thread about this out there mixed in with other issues. I want to make a dedicated thread for this issue.
2019 RAM 1500 eTorque with 22k miles on it. Truck ran great for 2 years. Suddenly now, after starting the truck the engine stalls when switching into Drive or Reverse. When in gear the engine surges and then stalls. Engine restarts fine, but then surges again once put in gear. Took it to dealer and they didn't see any codes or problems. Said it was normal. They also claimed that all their eTorque trucks in the lot do the same thing. I told them this has not happened in 2 years of ownership and suddently started after my 12V lead-acid battery died out of the blue (doubt it is related).
I know others on here have had the same issue. Please chime in if you have the same issue. Trying to see if there are common aspects that might help point to a root cause.
