I've had my 2019 Ram 1500 classic (5.7 hemi) for about 5 months, bought it used with 41,000km. Everything was fine for the first few months until my son left my interior lights on and my battery died.
I boosted it and took the truck for a drive to charge it up and it was fine again for another couple of weeks until it died twice in one week. Went and grabbed a new battery from Costco (because of their unbeatable warranty) and all was fine for another couple of months until 2 weeks ago. Battery voltage reads 14v when running so I don't think it's the alternator.
That battery died again, tried trickle charging it but it just wouldn't hold a charge and died 2 more times in a week. Went and traded it at Costco for a new one, put it in and the truck still won't start.
Battery reads 12v but doesn't even attempt to crank, just gives a faint hum and the low battery and SERV 4WD lights come on the dash.
Anyone have a similar issue that they resolved or any advice? Thanks.
