First, I know there are 2 threads about this upgrade, but none of them are complete.
So, first of what needs to be done in order to make it happen. Since I upgraded from UC4 to UC5, I ordered all parts for a 2023 Ram.
You will need a 23 Radio module with the ethernet port and the screen of you choosing. I ordered mine with LKA and Park Assist. LKA does work in my 2019 as I never had it, but Park Assist works. First, I did the UC5 upgrade, all worked perfectly. Next big thing is the BCM. You need to change your BCM to a 23 model year. So, I went to the dealer and told them to replace my BCM and restore the configuration file and marry it to my RF Hub. Gave them a brand new BCM and told the to do the BCM change. They even didn't ask any questions, they said Ok, charged me $250 and I was out of there in an hour. Since I had a lot of changes in my BCM, most of them did not work. Went home, restored my configuration file and all came back to life.
Now, to the cluster. I knew that there is no programing available for the mileage correction as of now. So I went with infotainment.com for the upgrade, as they state that they are the only one who can do that. I know it's expansive but you pay to play, but the mileage I gave them to program in is correct. :giggle:
4 weeks later, all showed up at my door step. Did all the programing with AlfaOBD beforehand. Installed the cluster, very easy to do an fired it up. All working as expected with 2 small side effects. One is, the P-R-N does not show in the cluster. D and current gear are showing in the cluster. The other one is, you have to have a security bypass module installed for the maps to show in the cluster. I used the one they send me for programming. I think a TazerDT will do the same. Now, All I have to do is to figure out the transmission state to have it fully function. I don't know if the signal is coming from the shifter or TCM.

Now, some Eye Candy.

I also changed the steering wheel button to reflect the right icon on the switch for the tiles.

If someone still cares about this swap, apparently Infotainment can program you current miles into the digital cluster.
