Since i got my 2019 limited i have been using a sunshade every day to protect the dash but want to make sure i am taking care of it properly. Im not sure what type of material this is exactly, it looks/feels like leather but im hesitant to put leather conditioner on it.

Does anyone have a good product for UV protection for the Limited dashboards? something totally safe and appropriate for whatever material it actually is.

There are quite a few natural shine / matted protectants that are designed for both leather and plastics. However, there is a train of thought that those products actually increase the heat retention of the material and weaken the glue that holds it together on the dash.

The modern materials used today are designed to repel UV, but I'm sure they can use some help for longer life. However if you are using a sunshade for heat and UV protection, I would just use a damp microfiber towel to clean my dash instead.

The Limited Leather is REAL leather with a protective coating on it. Any leather conditioner will do fine here.

Not legal here either, but it’s a clear film so it’s a non issue
I've never used clear tint, but can't you still tell it's got a film applied when wearing a pair of polarized sunglasses? I also have a concern about micro-scratches when I clean the inside of the windshield.

If you didn’t know it was there, you wouldn’t know it was tinted.
