Suddenly when I was heading back home the truck immediately lost AC and turned into complete heater mode. The controls on the dash won’t work. It’s. 2019 Bighorn doesn’t have dual climate control or climate controls on the uconnect8.4. It was acting up since last week but yesterday just lost all functions of the AC control. I’ve read on some that it’s a possible bad HVAC module which is my best guess because the ac lines are still cooling it’s just not letting me control the temp and the air flow mode. Only the fan speed works. Suddenly two blend door modes not working doesn’t point me to a bad blend door as I still hear them trying to engage. When I turn the knobs I hear like clicking under the dash almost like they’re trying to work but something isn’t letting them fully move. Seen a few forums that people have had issues with a bad module that’s under the glove compartment. Is this a common thing? It’s had 160k miles and I bought it with 3 miles on the dash and this is the only issue I have ever had. Would I actually need to program it still even though it doesn’t have auto climate and dual climate just the standard AC system?

Also it seems like the doors are binding. Almost like it keeps forcing the doors to move one way and it’s causing clicking and not letting it move the other way to cooling mode.

you have a broken blend door. the dash will have to come out to fix it.
it's a thing on all makes they re made from plastic and the actuator is electric
back in the day we had a cable and it was mechanical so problems were rare but in modern times they are made to fail.
don't slam dodge my camaro had it happen with 19k miles on it. it's become a common issue and it's expensive to have fixed unless you can do it yourself.
my camaro quote was over 2k i did it for 20 bucks and a lot of time so i replaced the heater core while i was in there.
