2019 and up upper glove box light issue

2019 and up upper glove Box light issue door closed fully or not the light is staying on. Upon removal of upper glove Box found switch on right side of upper glove Box that controls the light the mount for the switch is sub par. Going to the dealer to fix it is only going to buy you some time before it fails again. it is not a door adjustment issue. It is a poor mounting issue with the switch. The only way is to fab a support bracket to craddle the switch.View attachment 126545View attachment 126545

once snaped back in, a tab of super glue will hold that for the rest of the trucks life.

Wonder if this is why my light sometimes doesn't work with the door open. Never bothered me enough to get it looked at and the problem is intermittent.
