I’m curious as to where you put your CB and how you mounted it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't even know anyone still used a CB radio, I have a hand held from OH to FL never heard a word had it on open scan 19 and 21 being the common stops.

I do only because of work. I am out in very remote areas that a lot of times do not have cell coverage. I am able to most always call for assistance on a CB if needed.

I have never had to do it however when I am out, I turn it on for a comms check with whomever is around the areas I’m in. I conduct a radio check then get off. I just feel the need to have a life line should I need one for any reason.

I’m a big fan of redundancy when comms is possibly needed for assistance or much needed help.
