A week or so ago the SERV 4x4 light came on while the truck was in 4H after driving through the ditch that runs across our drive way that had about 2 ft of water in it. We live in Florida and our lot is flooded most of the time so this time of year we use the 4x4 a lot. The truck appears to have defaulted to 2 wheel drive. However the 4x4 light is still on and the push button 4H is lit up still.
Replaced the Transfer Case Motor since most said that was their issue. Also took the connector off the Actuator on the front axle to make sure it wasn't corroded. But once the motor was replaced it went right back to the same. 4x4 light on, SERV 4X4 light on, and 4H selected on push button selector however truck is in 2 wheel. No codes being shown.
Please give us something else to look at as it's hard to feed the animals on the farm without 4x4.
