Hey all. Been having a somewhat hard time determining what will work and what won't work on a 2025 1500 from previous model years. Would like to start a thread for 2025 owners that have added or modded parts from previous years and whether they work/are immediately compatible, or whether they tried and didn't work. Feel free to suggest a different page or thread for this if its not in the correct place. I haven't done anything yet with mine, so anyone can feel free to start, I will add as I go. Things I'd like to find out about especially are suspension/lift, lights, etc.

Thanks!

Ones I have installed:

1- hard tonneau cover
2- tow hooks
3- Front-only mud flaps - no one has the rear flaps yet
4- rubber bed cover
5- dash cover
6- Running boards
7- Factory chrome body side moldings

Bed step does not work, 25 is diff.

I can add to this now. Just got a Gator STX soft tonneau from Realtrucks and it fits, so assuming the bed size is exactly the same and all tonneaus should fit.

Rough Country brand tow hooks work but the plastic bezels are not needed.

Wondering about lift kits specifically. Anyone have access to a mopar parts catalog? If the control arms and shocks/struts are the same part numbers then I assume lift kits would be the same.

all the baja designs stuff should bolt right up
the SDHQ A pillar brackets should fit
ICS fab dash mount should fit just fine
67d dash mount should fit just fine
GFC camper should fit just fine too
Fox 2.5, Carli, and Thuren stuff should fit just fine as well, only the front spring rate may be slightly different due to engine weight.
white kunckle offroad slider should fit as well

Factory Rebel transfer case skid plate from a ‘21 Rebel will bolt right up.

How is it keeping the water out?
I have the factory soft trim fold and it socks.

factory covers with the rail system are terrible for water intrusion, learned my lesson on my last chevy. I went back to a hard tri fold by gator for my Ram that rest on top of the bed rails. I really like it and it dont get hardly any moisture in it. I got it from Real truck through this site as they offer discounts. you have to connect to them through the boards though via DM.

Mine does rest on the bed rails......

Humm, did you say you had the soft cover? All I can add at this point is I have the gator Hard tri fold for. 6 foot 4 bed and it’s really pretty decent on water intrusion I am really happy with it versus the one I had on my Silverado it leaked like a bucket on an umbrella. Pun intended lol

Mine is a soft cover tri fold. I know they aren't waterproof, but hay, I have vids and stills of excess water.
Couple of friends have soft covers(rollup) with minimal leaks or non at all. I'd settle with minimal.....

Let me tell you the story of the Roscinante:
I got my 2025 ram 1500 tradesman 4x4 in August of 2024 and I traded my 2015 Jeep Wrangler (Pork Chop) for it. I had to do so because with my back and shoulder problems, I couldn't pull myself up into my Jeep, (which was lifted 5 1/2" and running 35x12.5 Mickey Thompson all terrains).
When I test drove it, the salesman asked me if there was anything that I might want added to it and I said I would like a spray in bedliner but I need steps. He told me that they could only do one of them, so I told him, I would like the spray in bedliner, but I need steps. So I got the steps, but I never gave up on the bedliner. Fast forward to a few days ago and I bought a spray in bedliner ($550) and a soft folding tonneau cover ($418) which will be installed on the 17th.
Future mods I would like to add:
1. An under seat storage box for my road tools.
2. Possibly a modest amp and sub.
3. Possibly a leveling kit. (I'm definitely not going to add a crazy lift like my Jeep had, even after I get a shoulder replacement)

If you're wondering about the name, I know it's goofy, but I name all my vehicles.

just do the bilstein 5100s all around and call it a day.
most useful and no cutting of frame or spacers required
