I bought skid plates for my 2019 1500 classic, LoneStar crew cab. After reading a lot of forums, I got the impression that since classic is 4th generation, skids of 4 th gen will fit. Got the following part numbers from another forum:
Transfer case, includes crossbar, 8 bolts 82214497
Front axle kit
68089777AB (with bolts)
82210014AC (skid plate only)
Power steering
68200064AB (plate)
6509233AA (M8 bolts -4)
6507851AA (Rivetnut - 4)
82212003 (Rivetnut tool)
Only the transfer case skid with the cross bar fits but it doesn’t protect anything. The other 2 don’t fit.
I was looking at the fifth generation skid plates, but they don’t seem to align with the holes in my truck.
Here are some pictures of the holes from Front axle, steering, crossmember.
Any ideas if the 5th gen plates will fit on mine or are there some other skid plate numbers that I have to find out.
