Beside the hard core 18" or even 17" wheel enthusiast, what are your opinions about 20" vs 22"?
My 2024 1500 Laramie came with 22" wheels and though I really didn't like them I got a very good deal that I couldn't pass on. The truck came with 285/45/R22 that to me do not give enough side wall. I was thinking on going back down to 20" for multiple reasons. 1) more side wall equates to better ride quality, 2) 20" tires are less expensive even up to 30% less and 3) much more selection in 20" tires. I was thinking of going to a 285/60R20 or even a 275/65R20. Can I fit a 34.5" tire with just a level kit?
Also, what is the offset for the stock 22" wheels?
What do you guys think?
