I recently took a road trip to Vegas from Phoenix and got my Ram up to 20 MPG20200218_142328.jpg20200218_125218.jpg20200218_123934.jpg

Eco at 76mph isn't something I've seen. Was that down a hill? Edit:I see your current mpg was 99 so had to be

I believe it was a slight downgrade at the time.

Curious, but is that from a reset at speed? In other words doesnt include anything but hwy speed?

Mine has shown as high as 21mpg with mostly highway miles. Although, the dash is always .3-.5 higher than hand calculating

Think I am averaging 13 currently...soon to hit 3K miles.

I get around 9 MPG, mostly city, almost 1k miles now.

Looks about right.

I took about a 1200 mile trip last weekend. The first two legs we were mostly on crowded interstates or two lane highway, so the speed was down around 65 and I averaged 21.7 hand calculated. Dash said 22.2. On Monday, I let the wife drive a while to get used to the truck and she got a long stretch of I-40 with a 75 mph speed limit. That sucked the mileage right down. No hard figures yet, since there's still half a tank left, but the dash says 20.0 now.

Amazing the differences reported just on this thread.
On another one theres a guy upset and wanting to lemon law his truck because he isn’t getting the advertised sticker mileage, city or highway.

If I was getting Maconi’s 9 mpg I’d be wondering what the hell was up, unless he’s having more fun than he should be having...

But then my 78‘ F250 4x4 390 c.i. 4.10 geared 4 speed manual Ferd got 8, loaded or empty...and rode like the wood wagon it was too.

I've been hoping it goes up as things "break in" but nothing so far lol. I generally just use adaptive cruise control (so it handles most of the acceleration/braking) and the speed limits around here are between 35 and 55 depending on the road (I've rarely hit the interstate so the truck hasn't seem many 75 MPH drives). I use the recommended mid-grade 89 octane.

What would even cause bad mileage (if something was broken)? I wouldn't even know what to look for.

Drove from Sac to Hesperia last week, 70 - 80 mph, ave was 18.9, including driving through the Tehachapis.

No idea what particular combination of factors causes 9 mpg, could be lots - winter blend fuels, low air pressure, lifted truck, stop and go, running hard, etc. Difficult o say.
