I have a 2020 1500 EcoDiesel Laramie and about 12k miles. After taking my truck for its first oil change, I have noticed a very small oil drops on the ground. It was right before the second oil change. At the second oil service, I asked them to look into the oil drips. Dealer called me, telling me my turbo isn’t any good… hmm he said the oil has been dripping from the turbo, all over the engine and down the exhaust…. I didn’t see any oil burning, smells, no warning lights. Anyway, it’s under warranty, let’s replace it. Unfortunately my truck has been at the dealer for two months now, waiting on a turbo availability. They are telling me that it’s on a back order and they have no clue at all, when it’ll become available. Who makes those turbos? VM Motori or someone else? And why is there a shortage on turbochargers?!
