After installing the front strut 2" spacers which provides a 3" lift we noticed that when we unloaded the suspension the upper control arm touches the spring/strut and the lower control arm touches the CV boot. Also the inner CV joint is at a severe angle. It rides fine but, if completely unloaded the suspension looks dangerous.

Does your truck have the “ORG” ? If so that extra inch may be your issue. I had the same lift before swapping for loaded struts and didn’t notice that issue with mine. My issue was the poor ride quality and that style lift caused both upper ball joints to wear out within 9 months of installing it.

This is part of why spacerkfts are not recommended
