2” MOTOFAB on Bighorn Night

Hey all! I just finished up install of the 2” motofab front level kit and can say that that ride really didn’t change! My only move after this is that I ordered the 1.5” spacers for the back, being that I do haul some weight quite frequently. My only thought is after reading a lot of posts…., should I have replaced the UCA’s? Pic below of current stance before I get the 1.5’s on the rear. Also planning to just get aggressive 32’s when the late fall comes Thanks!

Love it, I did the same 2" motofab, did not do uca, angles all look great, fully unloaded have plenty of space and room left on ball joints. The stance is perfect, half inch higher in the back exactly what I wanted. Ride is just as smooth as factory.
 
I just got my motofab 1.5" rear installed. I have the RC 2" level struts upfront. Terrible angle for the picture, sorry. I'm sitting 1" higher in the rear right now which is what I was hoping for. The front might settle some more but that's okay. 34" tires will be going on this week.

I am contemplating doing the same Motofab on the rear. Are you going with different rear shocks with a longer stroke?

To start with I am using my OEM shocks. If the ride suffers then yes i'll be exchanging the rear shocks out for some Bilsteins 5100's at some point. I wanted to try it this way for a bit to see before spending more money.

If someone was only going to do 2/2.5 F and 1/1.5 R would it be worth it to change out the UCA's?
 
if you do the 2.5" in the front, I would say yes. with the 2" I don't think it was horrible, but my plan is to still change them out next year.

I plan to tackle this task in the near future and don't know if its worth it if I stay at or under 2". Would going 1.5 R and 2 F even make a difference?
 
It does make a difference, it all depends on how high you want to go or how big of a tire you are looking at. with a 2" in the front of mine, I have about .5-.75 of rake left which is good for me as I tow a bit. I plan on going Carli's fox kit in the future which will give me 2.5 front and 1.5 rear. It's a bit more then I want, but that's the amount they recommend to leave it at so I will stick to that.

Hmmm wonder if it would look weird if I stuck to stock wheels/tires on a 2.5F and 1.5R... or 275/60/20
 
I don't think it will. It's going to sit perfectly level and that's actually the tire size I want to go with as I don't want E rated tires. I just think they are too heavy.

Same boat, I wanted to go slightly bigger but they were all E load and I cant justify the heaviness and lower MPG
 
Understand that completely! I'll probably go with a Nitto Ridge Grappler when I move up to the 275/60's. They look very aggressive but I've heard they are quiet and ride well.

those look pretty sweet, I was looking at ultraterrains since I've heard good stuff but might looking into Nitto too

Sorry for the bad picture but this is OEM tires with a 2" front 1.5" rear.

Looks nice doesn’t seem to much wheel well space but you could definitely fit a bigger tire in there.
Any ride quality issues? Thinking of doing UCA and either 2/2.5 in front or 1.5 rear
 
Different angle. I'm putting 34" tires on this week. I'll post the difference. Ride quality with the front 2" struts is a little bit firmer than stock but I prefer that. It's not harsh at all. If it helps, I have 8.5" from top of the tire to the fender in front and 9.5" in the rear.

Just took my longest ride since getting the level and tires on. About 5 hours round trip from central NH to Old Orchard Beach ME. I can say I lost maybe 1mpg with this current setup, not bad. After several days with the rear motofab spacer I've decided I'll be changing out the rear shocks to some with more travel.
