Ugh - that's kinda bad news for the likes of me. So I went in and tried to "ram chat", but no joy - here is what ensued.

Started out at "Customer Care" link at: https://fcacommunity.force.com/Dodge/s/

From there I clicked on "Contact Us" link takes me: https://fcacommunity.force.com/Dodge/s/article/How-do-I-contact-Dodge1

Then clicking on "Live Chat" link takes me: https://fcacommunity.force.com/Dodge/s/knowledge

Then clicking on "Vehicle Information" link takes me: https://fcacommunity.force.com/Dodge/s/topic/0TOf1000000UXW8GAO/vehicle-information

Then clicking on "Can you tell me the order status of my new vehicle?" link takes me: https://fcacommunity.force.com/Dodge/s/article/Can-you-tell-me-the-order-status-of-my-new-vehicle

Once there this message comes up on the page:

Is there another path where I could get to "ram chat"?

My dealer keep me pretty informed. Took exactly 5 1/2 weeks from ordering to it arriving at my dealer.

I couldn’t wait for the spreadsheet to update again tonight so I figured I would get an update from ram chat. Looks like my truck made it to the assembly line today! It’s in “E” which is frame, I’m beyond excited!
Now look what you've gone and done...LOL. Made me check on mine today and found out I'm in Paint (Code F). Gonna check back Friday and see if she's done. Good lord the anticipation is killing me! :ROFLMAO:

Haven't heard back from the call I placed to my dealership on Monday, but they are likely getting back up to speed after the Holiday. It's only been exactly two weeks since I placed my order.


Today I did get through to chat at following location:

Ha, way cool. Just learned a few moments ago that mine's in Paint too! Chat stated that are not given a % or anything like that, but that being "in paint" means my vehicle is nearly finished with the build process. Wahoo! Chat said in this case it shouldn't be too much longer before they are finished assembling the vehicle and recommended checking-in perhaps Friday afternoon for a possible update.

Now I really need to finish getting my old Silverado ready to sell (i.e., new rear brakes, fluid service, front-end alignment). Just replaced faulty oil pressure sending unit, rebuilt the dash cluster, and replaced rattly steering shaft bearing. She's getting close to being 100% ready for a new custodian.

Chat person today said my order is currently in the build process and the completed vehicle should be ready for shipping in the next day or so. I am so stoked.

Unfortunately this is not the case my truck has been in the same status since 12/24. The plant is shut down until 1/14 so don’t expect your truck to be ready to ship until atleast the 14th

You're right. Last "chat" guy was blowing smoke. Checked with a couple other "chat" persons, once on Friday and again today (Monday), but my truck's still in "paint".

Status from Chat this morning is now KZ (shipping). Was in trim earlier this week. My truck appears to finally be in transport now - way cool!

My RAM is on the train heading west toward Benicia. Supposed to be there in a couple weeks and then in a couple more should be Dealer prepped and ready for delivery. The end of the beginning is in sight!
