For the last 2 days my position displayed by the navigation system in my 2019 Limited is offset several miles from my actual location. Thought maybe it was bad GPS signal at first but my phone GPS signal strength and number of satellites visible while sitting in the truck are just fine.
The maps loaded in my truck are several years old as my neighborhood that was constructed 4 years ago shows as an off-road empty space in the vehicle. Maybe my truck has very old software in it?
Have an appointment with dealer to troubleshoot a couple weeks from now but was wondering if you guys knew of some reset tricks or a way to force an update etc. Truck is great but this infotainment software is terrible.

I asked my dealer to be sure my maps were up to date as of the time of delivery. He sort of smiled and said they have no control over it. :(

I think they will sell you a map, but I don't see how to find out what is available. This is crazy, even companies like Garmin that sell GPS and maps for a living will allow you to get the most up to date map at the time of purchase for no additional fee.

The crazy thing is if you go to this uconnect map update site 2019 RAM is not even an option (they only go up to model year 2017!!!!

They do appear to have a way to report problems with a map, but I haven't tried to login to see how it works (or if it will work at all):
https://mapcreator.here.com/mapcreator/

Doing some googling, I did find the following, BUT! I don't know if this is useful at all for our 2019 RAM 1500s: https://static.garmincdn.com/autoOem/chrysler/doc/en/Chrysler update instructions V3.pdf

Turns out there are some hardware and software issues with my 12" system. Waiting on FCA to give the dealer the go ahead to replace the thing. Took the dealer 3 days to figure out "it's hard broke", and now it's a "1 to 4 week wait" for the dealer to get a fix procedure from FCA. Not very impressed with that at all. Especially after reading all the similar issues posted on this forum. You'd think they'd be all over fixing the infotainment system since that is the key selling feature for 2019.
