Curios how some are mounting off road flags to the front of their vehicles. I unfortunately don’t have the off road pack so no tow hooks up front....at least at the moment. I’ll be visiting a friend who lives near the silver lake dunes in Michigan and I wanted to take the truck out on the sand with the family. I plan to stick to simple paths and nothing crazy. Maybe get near some water to let the kids play a bit. No lift any anything but I’ll be on new AT tires. I have a magnetic mount antenna that I was thinking of strapping a flag to as it gets me near the 10ft mark but that’s only on the roof. How are others mounting flags up front?

Ended up buying and installing the cheap Amazon tow hooks. They actually aren’t to bad for $120 with plastics.

Don't forget to air your tires down. Use a piece of pool noodle around the flag pole from damaging your paint. As for mounting, anywhere you can fit an L bracket. If you go the route of L bracket behind license plate, use zip ties around the noodle/pole and zip to multiple points of your grill. I'd hate for the leverage of the pole whipping to damage your truck.

Perfect! Will do. Last thing I need is to rip the paint to pieces for a simple little trip. I can’t wait! I’ll be stealing a pool noodle from the in laws ASAP as they have a pool and never use those anyway.
