1" leveling spacer?

I've looked around with no luck...

I'm thinking of machining some 1" spacers for the front of my off road package truck. I don't need much, I just want to eliminate some of the rake, and make room for a little bigger tire. Thinking 1" on top of the ORP wouldn't be too much on the ball joints, so I wouldn't need to get upper control arms. And be a real easy, quick install. Or should I just bite the bullet and buy the whole lift? It's a lease, so I don't want much, and I want to be able to easily return it to factory.

Good idea. Ebay has .5” upper strut spacers. Not sure if your strut studs are long enough for the 1” spacer thickness???? Im just going to wait for coilovers or bilsteins.

maxtrac makes a 1.5" kit they say is fine with the factory control arms.
