For sure - one decent pothole or hard turn at highway speeds and that sidewall is going to get a bit too friendly with that UCA
Also - depending on lift you install, my level replaced UCAs and I actually have a bit more room between now, so you may not need spacers afterward.
Details in signature - made it 21 months before my first mod (level and tires when stock tires needed replaced at 23k miles). Will definitely be the first thing I do when I buy another new one in 6-7 years (hopefully that long)
Ended up going with the N-Fab Nerf RS bars, found them online for $30 cheaper than anywhere else at NAPA auto, free next day shipping. Solid build, 30 minute install by myself, very happy with them so far, and my wife and three girls (all under age of 6) can get in now!
Finally ordered my nerf bars this weekend, found the n-Fab nerf RS bars for $30 off through Napa Auto (less than $375 all in), bought them online with free shipping, arrived next day - solid build and 30 minutes to install, will post more pics tomorrow (ignore the dirty truck - 2 miles of gravel...
Is that your adjusted MPG doing calculation, or just what is displaying on cluster? If the latter and you haven’t adjusted your Speedo, then you are off on mpg approximately 10%
It’s great. The only instances I’ve heard of that is when they haven’t been properly aligned. front currently stands at 39.5" from ground to highest point (center) of front wheel well, and rear sits right at 40".
33s and maaaaayyyyybe 34s but I highly doubt it. Was looking at this myself recently and think 275/60r20 was biggest without rubbing UCA, but ended up doing level and 285/65r20 instead
I have the ready lift leveling kit, and have noticed zero difference in ride quality. I have 285/65R 20 tires, you will not be able to get them on your stock suspension without doing a level.
One pic from before, 3 from after install
I know - the math isn't hard, and I like it.
And good to know on AlfaOBD - need to take the plunge, but I'm afraid it'll be the gateway to more mods - which will not go over well with the Mrs. :)
For sure - that’s why I’m hand calculating it. A lot of math, but it’s easy to do. Dash calculation shows I’ve lost 3MPG, but my actual math results in what I described before
Will Be looking into AlfaOBD eventually, but so much conflicting info on whether it works without disabling parksense...
Ride is great, no noticeable difference when it comes to bumps, etc. they drive a little more responsively, or firmly (not sure how to describe it - definitely a better grip to the road. Noise level is great, can only hear a faint hum to them at highway speeds, nothing like a lot of mud terrains...
I’ve had those in my Amazon cart for 3-4 weeks and can’t decide haha - same on request for any feedback. Just did a 2” level and bigger tired for total 3.5” lift in front and want off-road style steps that don’t break the bank, dang tires are STEEP right now (I know I know, first world problems)
2” ReadyLift Leveling Kit with UCAs and 285/65r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock 20x9s - no rubbing or trimming required, and have more room between tire and UCA now than I did with the 275/55r20s stock
Currently sitting at 39.5” from ground to highest point of front wheel well (up from 36”)...
Similar story here - i just Added 2” ReadyLift Leveling Kit with UCAs and upgraded to 285/65r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock 20x9s +19 offset - no rubbing or trimming required, and have more room between tire and UCA now than I did with the 275/55r20s stock. Wanted the full 35” tire but offset...
