    Mark Dodge Thread

It would be the dealers responsibility to know and inform the buyer of any changes or omissions. Something as obvious as reclining seats would be a big deal to me. A $100 discount is laughable. I think its going kill or delay an order for me. The only problem is that its likely that waiting...

I looked at my Laramie build sheet from MD and it shows Laramie Level II (not Laramie Level 2). It appears the ugly rumors are true....no reclining, heated leather seats....for now at least.

I appreciate that. I think the change is a recent thing.....like a supply issue.

So I read in another thread that the Laramie 2 package no longer has reclining rear seats and that the package is discounted $100 to compensate. Wonder if this is permanent or just a temporary shortage. I noticed when I submitted my first build to MD MSRP was $100 less than I thought it should...

So I'm 560 miles for MD. Trying to decide if its worth driving down to Lake Charles and making a short trip out of it with my wife or just paying up for shipping. What kind of shipping rates are buyers seeing for trailered towing?

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

I'm getting my order ready for a Laramie Midnight Edition and I was going 3.21 then I wondered whether the 22"x9" 285/45r22's would weigh enough more to consider the 3.92. Is there a source for checking the weight of the various wheel/tire options?

Almost all states have systems in place to check sales tax based on the buyers address. You can come to an accurate number if you know what you're doing. The plates, license fees etc might be a little less obvious.

I can't imagine the LA dealer would be required by another state to collect sales tax for them. I'm in MO too and dealers will tack on the sales tax to the deal if you want to roll it into the loan or you can take a check to the DMV and pay it there. OTOH if I'm 0% I'm rolling that sales tax...

So is the $1000 non-refundable deposit standard operating proceedure? I'm ready to get my order in after adding another $3G in options LOL. Has anyone dealt with salesman Evan Hardy? Am I getting the same deal as I would with any other sales person?

I will confirm with my salesman tomorrow. So whatever rebates are available at the delivery would be in addition to the MD discount? Makes it hard not to buy LOL>

Does this seem to be inline with what others are getting from MD? This price I'm sure includes 2000 in rebates and maybe 2500 if I'm seeing things right on the Ram build site. I keep seeing the $1000 coupon so that would stack onto this discount? And is this price generally locked in with the...

    Order Tracking

Yes....it all matches up but the RAM site build was 68000 even and the MD build was 70400. The discount brought it down to just under 62000 which seems to be inline with what I see others quoting. I probably need to study all the angles so I know what to expect.

Ok..so the 2000 difference is them deducting the rebates without saying they're deducting the rebates....thanks. So when Mark gives you a price, that includes all rebates?

    Order Tracking

First post here. couple of quick questions. I've been in contact with the Mark dealer. The salesman indicated a wait of 18-26 weeks. Is this about right? How can anyone make sense of the rebate situation? I try to get more info out of the salesman but I don't think I quite understood the...
