    Center console

The TRIM components can likly be swapped, but the textured plastic side panels with map pockets cannot be swapped as they are welded to the structural center console.

What system do you have - base 6 speaker or 7 speaker? What ohm (2 or 4 ohm) CDL 6x9's did ya get? Thx!

Ram 1500 2022 Electrical Plug/Connector Identification for Fog Lights

I broke the electrical connectors on one of my Fog lights (retaining prong broke off), and I'm having a heck of a time finding a replacement female connector. I'm pretty good at Googling, but just can't find the same replacement part. It seems to be a Delphi/Pacard 260 series connector, but the...

    New member Minnesota - 1500 5.7L Night, 8.4" Screen Non-Navigational

Been on the 5thGen Rams site for maybe 9 months reading / learning / posting questions / posting what works about audio upgrades on the base 6 speaker system. Also added passive entry for the door locks (which required some wiring and OBDII programming changes). Lots of helpful people offering...

For those with 6 speaker base stereo who have upgraded-What speaker did you use?

I did all the reading across many forms and form pages and went with the CL69 6x9 4 Ohm (slim) speaker offered by: [CDT Audio Subwoofer CL-69S I also went with the FaitalPRO 8 Ohm speakers for the dash with 300 mF cap for a bass-blocker (placed in series on the positive speaker lead). Stock...

Thanks Sascwatch, I recall reading that in the manual earlier this year, but you reminded me where it is - thanks!

New cabin air filter for 2022?

I can't even find the filter... must be behind one of the fuzzy panels. Need to read the manual on this topic.

HK radio and door speaker upgrade

Thanks Dcam, Without seeing your post, I did order some temporary series resistors to try to tone-down the Faitels... once I find the desired results I will build the proper L-Pad resistors in series/parallel connection to prevent hurting the amp. My mid-range is still lacking some from the...

Replaced speakers and lost Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)???

Hemi HEMITKN, I'm not sure on the 7-speaker system - the topic was discussed, but it will need alot of reading across many posts pertaining to ANC / polarity / speaker Ohms... I knew I saw it was mentioned, but I was focusing on the base 6-speaker. I do know the dash speakers are not tied to...

Replaced speakers and lost Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)???

As far as I know, only the door speakers are tied to the ANC system. Verify your wiring polarity on each speaker (to make sure they are all the same if you didn't use Metra type adaptors) - I've read that some adaptors are wired backwards (or incorrectly). You can also test if ANC is better if...

HK radio and door speaker upgrade

As an update on my '22 Ram Base 6-speaker upgrade, I installed four (4) 4-Ohm CD69's in doors and 8 Ohm Faital 3FE22's in the dash with 600 Ohm base blockers - plastic door panels were also treated to a few layers of 80-mil RoadKill because its cheap and the door panels were off. Before the...

Replaced speakers and lost Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)???

Thanks BT10... I found a schematic for the DT base 6-speaker system and at least I have wire code colors to know what is positive & negative (darkgreen/violet is + and darkgreen/yelow is -) prior the speaker to know what lead gets the bass blocker. The schematic doesn't tell if the system is a...

Replaced speakers and lost Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)???

Anyone know if the base 6-speaker radio with ANC has it's dash speakers wired in reverse polarity? The door speakers are said to be wired in reverse polarity, and being the dash speakers are said to be parrelled with the front door speakers, I'm wondering which spade connector on the speaker is...

Replaced speakers and lost Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)???

Keep in mind guys that there are three (3) radio options - each have there own needs for speaker Ohms and wiring polarity. If you have the Hemi, you have ANC (if you don't have a Hemi you don't have ANC). Replacing speakers and wiring them correctly for polarity should not effect proper ANC...

Interior LED Lights swap out possible?

Anyone find any good options for low-beams/high-beams/fog-lights in LED with good life, light, and light cut-off so opposing drivers are not angered? My '22 Bighorn just has the halogen reflector lamps...

Replaced speakers and lost Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)???

I just installed the CD69's in my 2022 base 6-speaker using the Metra 72-6514 (for door speakers) to keep the polarity the same as stock and it was a dramatic improvement. The dash speakers need the Metra 72-7902 harness adaptor - I have the Faital 3FE22 3" speakers ordered and awaiting delivery...

HK radio and door speaker upgrade

Scap (or others), Did you change any other speakers like on the dash? I'm thinking of doing the same CDT CL69's on all 4 doors with Metra 72-6514 connections, but wondering if the dash needs help too (like the Faital Pro 3FE22's 3" full-range). Also wanted to ask if the front doors (or rear...
