Some people just cling to V8s. Some people think a small engine is going to be overworked, and not last as long. Some think that the hurricane is unproven, with unknown reliability. And others think that anything with a turbo is inherently unreliable. Whether or not that is true is yet to be...
I took my quote and shopped it to local dealerships. I think Jim Butler in Linn, MO generally has pretty good pricing, but I found them after I ordered from my local dealership that matched MD.
Dealership took an hour and a half to confirm my diagnosis of needing a new pedal/throttle assembly, and have the part ordered. Luckily the vehicle is drivable in the meantime, so I'll take that as a win.
I just sold my 2006 TJ to my dad. Going to miss that Jeep, but it had AC (not that I ever used it). I'm hoping to find a decent 4 door in the next few years to start putting effort into.
I don't think that really fixed the issue. Just happened to my dad in my brand new 2025 that I picked up last Thursday. Didn't leave a bruise or anything, but he cussed pretty good.

I have finally picked up my truck! I already have a slight issue, but hopefully the dealership gets it taken care of. It seems my throttle is overly sensitive, so start stop doesn't work unless I hook my toe under it and pull it up before stopping.

I'm also wondering how that will affect model year turn over? Will they have trouble moving the older trucks off the lot when the 2026s start rolling in?
That's why I ended up ordering. I couldn't find a truck nation wide that had the crew cab, 6'4 bed, and any decent options that wasn't white or silver.
I’m about to take delivery of one of the last weeks of 2025 production, and it’s kind of annoying. I wish they’d extend it to at least future sales of 2025s
