Actually, it does. That's why I traded my '20 Challenger 1320 (with factory drag radials) for my '22 Ram.
Well, the driving part didn't get that old, but buying a new set of rears every 3,000 miles for a daily driver did. And that's with very little romping on it...the first set lasted 1,200...
Naw, they got that part right. I have absolutely no use for a 4x4, and totally confident in the size of my manhood so I didn't need four-wheel drive for ego either. :)
But coming from a Challenger 1320, I did want some *** under the pedal, and towing oomph when needed.
Ordered my Limited 4x2 on 12/21/21. Order was a bit goofed up because they left out the 33gal tank, bed utility group and 3.92, so they modified the order. But...that placed it as a second order, not a modification. Both went into D status on the 22nd.
Both orders went to D1 on December 23rd...
Something else to consider is that eTorque 5.7 is the same cost (or no cost on a Limited) as the standard 5.7 these days. Make any potential fuel cost savings much more immediate.
Took some more pictures. Red piping is that cheap Amazon stuff, have another order coming with a darker red, did all four doors and the edge of the center console with it. The inserts are from Cupholder Hero, also via Amazon.
I think they made the GT package as a way to bring costs down on the TRX by spreading the costs to other models. With a GT, they throw on a CAI and exhaust to sweeten the deal, but the real money in the package is the TRX center console, paddles, etc.
Fun fact, it's also the ONLY way to get...
The logo on the arm rest lid is in red, and says RAM (RED) instead of Limited. The rest of the interior is regular Limited trim colors.
The rear seat area is still full of the junk I took out of my Challenger, so I haven't done any interior pictures, I'll throw some up this weekend.
Hey ya'll. Thanks for having me!
57 years old and finally bought my first truck. I've been a sports/performance car guy my entire life, but I don't bend in the middle as well as I used to and starting thinking about something more comfortable, and more usable.
Decided on a truck, and decided...
Ditto, just got my '22 Limited on Wednesday, and installed my Tazer DT as soon as I got home (long time Tazer user with my Challengers). Had to turn off both cam modes, and it's a struggle to cycle through settings, since it seems UConnect 5 is sending data updates to the Audio screen a lot...
