I think this is the part that shocks me the most. One of the dealerships is "Wagoneer certified" and another one is remodeling in order to be. They think having a nicer waiting room is going to attract customers while providing the worst service I've ever seen.

Yeah, the email is legitimate - I get them too. Occasionally when I open the app the fault does show, so it is an intermittent problem I'm experiencing.
The device is working properly by connecting when the connection is available, the truck shouldn't be available when powered off.
Why is there a WIFI and a Bluetooth connection to be made when the truck is powered off? That would be where I focused my troubleshooting time.

Looks like just poor communication from Realtruck mixed with supply chain issues. Got a good enough price that I may look to them again for ordering.
So got some movement today:
First I got the default notification that the cover had shipped.
About half an hour later I got an email saying my issue was resolved and that I can't cancel my order since the package has shipped.
Hopefully it's the right product and I can put this down to supply...
