there are a few of us who have the 8.4 files. the update process is identical to the 12

if you do upgrade past 39.7 you do lose performance pages. however 3 level heat option for your steeringwheel may just need to be enable again.

Yes. I had the 8.4Nav and did a full swap. I had to get in touch with the Uconnect engineers but I was able to use remote start, WIFI, and Ram Connect

my guess... and it may be off, but a setting is wrong if you get all hot or all cold. your truck needs to be set to Dualzone ATC control. when it is set to single zone that is the problem we see. do you have alfaobd to check?

I found that the following steps seem to help when this happens: unpair device from the TRUCK Unpair the device bluetooth from the phone Delete the device from the truck. unplug and replug the USB, plug in the device. Pair bluetooth

The 12 in bezels are the same for 19+ 5th gens. 18 and before are way different

26.17 is a current uc5 file

Definitely need the module and a repin harness unless you plan on repinning yourself. Modules are a bit pricey but not hard to get
