Woke up to hear the dang tick.

IMO, I will not own a modern vehicle without a factory warranty. Way too much very expensive crap to break, and they all do now.

Has anyone found carpet/ cloth floormats 2025 1500 laramie

I too dislike rubber mats. Don't like my feet sliding around. I always switch out, even oem carpet with Lloyd's mats. Thicker, etc.... If they don't make 2025 yet, they will soon. Maybe ask them.

3.92 Ratio for highway driving..did I just screw up? 2022 Ecodiesel Rebel

Not sure about diesel, but I had two identical 5.7's, but one with 3.2's and one with 3.9's, and cruising at 50-75 speeds, the 3.9's got 1 mpg better over about 26K miles average. My only theory is the 3.9's rarely had to downshift to 7th and the 3.2's did it all the time.

Bright White vs Tricoat Ivory White: is there a big difference?

I had two tricoat ivory trucks, a 20 and a 21, and I've never owned a white truck in 10+, usually I did black or dark blue. I liked the ivory white a lot. washed the trucks maybe 3-4 times a year. when I saw a std. white they stuck out to me as being pretty bright. just IMO. But I also had...

    2025 Tungsten Informal Review

I have a 20 laramie w/18's and a 21 limited w/20s, both with ORG and the Falken AT3. I'm a tire guy (old ex-roadracer) and they have been the best I have driven in 30yrs. the only negative is they are not the best in the wet. I can push the front end on sharp turns, and it has gotten a little...

    2026 Ram 1500 release?

That's what I was thinking too. Instead of winter '23-24 for the 25's, they would go to the mid-way of may-june 25 for 26's. then finally get back to the traditional summer release for sept deliveries. But who knows anymore.

    2026 Ram 1500 release?

I'm due to replace my '20 this coming spring. With the early release of the 2025 in the spring of 24, what can we expect for the 26?

    2025 Level 2 Lighting Question

I've got a '20 Laramie Level 1, and it has LED fronts (non-moving) and it makes no mention of them on the window sticker. I also have a '21 Limited, that has LED fronts that move, and again makes no mention of them on the window sticker, but it does say LED fog lights and rear taillights. The...

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

And why I moved from GM and Ford to Ram. While the GM and Fords may have gotten better mpg, they suffered from poor throttle response, so much so that I started shopping. Ram's throttle response/shifting was heads above the others. I will trade 1-3 mpg all day for performance., Just me.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

I've got a different angle on the no-dipstick, sensor thing. For me, someone who will never own a late model vehicle without a full factory warranty, it just doesn't matter to me. Why? Because if the sensor fails to tell me there is low oil, and it blows up, it's on them.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Fair enough, didn't see that. I was looking for yearly numbers and saw the chart below that. But even so, 23 and 24 down roughly 100K +/- from 19, 20, 21 (assuming 100K +/- for Q3/4 played out) Thanks

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Here's the link where I saw it: https://carfigures.com/us-market-brand/ram/ram-pickup I'm not a Ram basher. They are my fav at the moment. I'm just trying to comprehend why sales are 'reported' to be down vs others. IMO, IN MY OPINION, not factual, probably because I have two of them, people I...

That explains this. 24 was way worse but partial year.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

then why did the '24 etorque-only not sell?
  15. C

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

I have a different theory. The 24 was not selling well. IMO it was because of the etorque-only option. They had to stop the bleeding. So the big question is, will the Hurricane stop the bleeding? I'm not sure. I will buy it, but I'm not a lifer Hemi guy. I have two hemi's now (20 and 21)...

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

I'm pretty sure it's just knock monitoring. If the sensors detect a knock, it detunes it.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

The material spec alone on the new engine is off the charts for any engine. From my experience, it is built like a drag car engine. but with production/cost issues in mind, as it should be. Yes it's small and high pressure, but It is not a passenger car engine.

2024 Ram Limited 124.9 Litre Fuel Tank - early low fuel indicator

I have the 33g tank as well. I just hit the low fuel light and it said 50miles left. At fillup it took 28.5 g, so assuming I get 17mpg, I would have 1.5g left at indicated 0 miles left. Now I don't know if those 1.5g left are actually usable? Just an observation.

Thanks Mike, we'll have to wait and see.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

So can the 25's A-SS be turned of permanently or not? I do not want to have to push a button every start cycle like most cars. My 20 and 21 v8's do not have a-ss, or maybe I hit a button the first day I owned them in the menu, it's off forever, don't remember. I'm allowed to have my reasons...
