Well, after 6 months of waiting, yesterday was finally the day. Truck arrived at the dealer at 8AM, picked it up at 3PM. Very happy with the truck so far, a big upgrade from my 2013 F150 FX4. Almost a shame to be using it as a personal/work truck!
When was your order date? MSRP of my Limited was about 73.5k and Executive got it down to 67.5k. Not sure if I just hit the timing right or what but I felt like I got a good deal.
I went with Executive Dodge in Wallingford. Shopped around and they gave me the best price and they’re only a 20 minute drive from where I live.
Ordered a Limited on August 2nd. Still waiting for it to arrive from New York but the dealer was pretty sure they’d see it within the next week.
I, and other members, were able to make changes to orders after both a VON and VIN have been established, as long as the build has not progressed to D1 status. This requires the dealership to contact their FCA regional rep, who then issued a change order with the factory. Apparently, either not...
Dealer just informed me that my truck is in the New York rail yard awaiting transportation to the dealer in CT. Only took about a week and a half from window sticker to being offloaded from the freight train. Hopefully only another week or 2 before it arrives.
I was quoted 7% under MSRP at the time of my order (1500 Limited) in August. Contacted my dealer to inquire about price increase. Salesman acknowledged price increases but guaranteed they would hold to our original agreement. The dealership has been very understanding of my frustration and said...
Well, as of yesterday, my VIN was still “not found” in the FCA lookup. As of this morning, both my VIN and window sticker appear. Getting closer. Anyone know how long after a window sticker appears are trucks typically seen at dealers in the CT area?
Dealership just informed me that my truck has entered the “framing stage”. If that’s true, how soon after that will the VIN build sheet be available on the FCA site?
My August 2nd order was like that until about December 21st, when I was notified all parts were gathered and I had a January 6th assembly date. Hopefully that means your time is near.
For reference, my order was a 1500 Limited, etorque, night edition, level 1 equipment, 3.92, locking diff...
According to what the FCA rep told my dealer, it’s slated to be built January 6. If that’s the case, my dealer told me to expect it beginning to middle of February.
Finally, I have some movement on my order. Dealer notified me that all parts have been acquired and it is moving to the build phase, confirmed by ram cares. For reference, August 2nd order date.
Spoke with the dealership today. They are just as confused as to what builds are prioritized. They had identical TRXs ordered on the same day, August 15th, one has already been delivered and one is still in the scheduling phase. I was told my truck will supposedly be built the week of January...
Figured I’d join in on the tracking. Ordered a 2022 1500 Limited Night Edition on August 2nd. Have been in the “scheduling” phase pretty much since they started building the 2022s. VIN assigned on 8/20
