The first video covered 2013 through 2018 RAMs, listen again. Some just refuse to understand. My 2022 has antennas in each wheel, I've seen the front ones. But that aside, answer the basic question, how does the truck know which TPMS sensor is in which wheel well if not for localized antennas?
If that is the case, how can the truck detect which sensor ID is located in which wheel well? A few years ago I recall looking at the schematic and seeing the antenna inputs. If you watch the video linked below, one of the wheel well antennas is shown.
Here is another video discussing...
I think RAM's TPMS is the best when it comes to tire rotations. It is my understanding, that the RAM has an antenna at each wheel position to listen to the sensor thus the strongest signal indicates the tire's new position. Even when a sensor is replaced, RAM's TPMS system will auto-detect it.
I don't have any complaints with Android. I had both at the same time before I retired. My work phone was Apple. They both do the same thing but just a little different. I wouldn't switch simply because of what is displayed on the 12", sometimes you want something because you can't have it but...
An event that is capable of causing a frontal crash avoidance happens so fast that you can't recall the events with accuracy. All I remember was I was driving, with throttle input, at about 40 MPH when a vehicle pulled out in front of me from a driveway on a four-lane road. He wanted to turn...
My 2022 came with the park assist and before it came in I watched YT videos of the feature. To me, it seemed like a lot of work to park the vehicle using park assistance over just parking the truck. My assumption was correct when I got the truck and tried the system.
Lane assist is a reasonable...
At home, I use an automatic shutoff tire inflator. It will adjust the tire pressure to the preset PSI. What I've noticed about the tire fill alert is that it is easy to overair a pound or two which isn't a big deal. It is a nice feature and I leave mine on.
I've owned my 2022 Longhorn ED for just over two years and it has been problem-free, not even a rattle or squeak. The only work done to it was the HPFP recall.
Now, let's talk about Uconnect 5. When I first got the vehicle, small things, for example, gasoline prices were not showing up on the...
It is a scheduling issue with the tech and an available service bay. To replace the pump and inspect to see if more work is required only takes a couple of hours. If they find a reason to have to repace more then they are covered by saying they need the truck for two days.
Nor did I but I don't live in a state RAM says has dirty diesel fuel.
I wonder if it has something to do with the cleanliness, or lack of, fuel in some states like Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska. The owner's...
The tank collects solids while the liquid should run off to a secondary tank where it is then pumped to the septic field. If I understand correctly, your septic field is pooling. This brings up a lot of questions particularly since the system is only two years old.
How many children and adults...
It is my understanding that pump gasoline is sold meeting government-directed additives designed to keep the internals of the engine clean. My wife's car is a 2013 with a GM Ecotec 2.4L direct-injected engine and zero issues after 88,000 miles. I doubt it was the gasoline that caused the 5.3L's...
I haven't read anything that tells us who is the source of the new pump. I just had my replaced under the recall. If I knew how to remove the soft cover over the HPFP I would look for the identifying plate on the pump. When it is minus some number of degrees outside, I'm not interested in trying...
The vehicle may not be factory-equipped with power running boards, could be an aftermarket system. I do not think the 2020 Rebel came with factor power running boards.
Good for you, no one should be afraid to ask a question but should expect a responsible answer.
The BMS system will automatically detect the new battery's capacity, you need to do nothing. Remember to connect any accessories to your battery, if you have any, on the non-battery post side of the...
@RamCares
I got my truck back last Friday, they had for two days and did not find a cause why the P0401 code was set. I'm going to stick with my story of something happened when they replaced the HPFP that caused the DTC to get set. I can't prove that nor do I care, I'm more concerned it...
The performance of the HEX beam is amazing. I have it set at 45 feet which is the ideal height for the states, Canada, the Gulf region, and Mexico. It also does well going across the Atlantic, with no issues working Europe.
It may be easier to pull off of the trailering lighting fuse in the underhood fuse block. I don't know if all RAM models are the same but the owner's manual for my 2022 shows fuse F12 as providing power for the trailer park lamps.
In a couple of weeks, my 2022 ED will celebrate its second birthday and complete a second year of zero issues outside of the HPFP recall. On the way home today, I got a check engine light and the code reader shows only one code, P0401 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation “A” Flow Insufficient). Two weeks...
