2019 Ram Completely Dead (Possible Battery Issue)

Just going to throw this out there but mine is a 2019 Laramie with the straight 5.7 Hemi, 8.4 radio with Uconnect and NAV. You may not be totally immune, so keep your fingers crossed.

2019 Ram Completely Dead (Possible Battery Issue)

After reading your post, I am thinking the problems I am experiencing are not so bad. My truck only acts up 3 or 4 times a month, and almost always on the first start up of the day. The memory driver's seat does not adjust. The front windows will not operate, but the rear windows will work...

2019 Ram Completely Dead (Possible Battery Issue)

What type of issues were you having with your Uconnect? My RF Hub was replaced over a yr ago and I have been having sporadic issues on start-up ever since.

2019 Ram Completely Dead (Possible Battery Issue)

FYI, the reason the RF Hub Module was bad was a water leak on the back window and the third brake light. Both had to be replaced. When they took the old module apart it was corroded inside. If they find that is the problem, have them water test the back window.

Sounds like if could be the Radio Frequency Module. Do a search on Radio Frequency Module and you can read my post. I had the same issues.

Interesting Conditions When Starting First Thing in the Morning

I made a copy of this post and gave it to the Service Manager. Three hours of software upgrades later and it hasn't happened again. Fingers crossed.

    Rear window surround crack.

Third brake light replaced last week, and 17 months after driving the truck off the lot, the truck is leak free. So now I am wondering if it wasn't the third brake light leaking all along, and the crack in the rear window frame just provided a channel for the water to run in easier.

    Rear window surround crack.

I agree. I had the crack, had the rear window replaced and it is still leaking. The third brake light is next to be replaced, which is a whole lot simpler than replacing the rear window.

Interesting Conditions When Starting First Thing in the Morning

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Sometimes when I start the truck first thing in the morning, I have several weird things happening. 1. The radio is off, but can be turned on manually. 2. The memory driver's seat does not adjust to the sync'd position. 3. The front driver...

    Rear window surround crack.

I had the crack in the rear window frame. Had the rear window replaced and it still leaks, but not as bad. I removed the third brake light assembly last week and the bottom of the gasket was saturated. I could squeeze water out of it. Did you find a similar condition when you removed your...

    Rear window surround crack.

Just a heads up for everyone with a leaking back window that hasn't been replaced yet, there is a radio frequency module mounted on the back wall of the cab, behind the backseat. Any water gets inside, the truck is dead in the water, literally. They didn't find my rear window leak until the RF...

Uconnect/sirius guardian - does it actually work?

To further the RFHM theory, I had 3,400 miles on my '19 Ram Laramie with no issues, except that the Sirius Guardian app wouldn't work. I didn't really put much thought into it, until I went to start the truck last week and got NOTHING. The truck did not recognize either of the remotes, but I...

Uconnect/sirius guardian - does it actually work?

For what it's worth, I had the same problem with the Guardian app. Last week the truck wouldn't start. I had to have it towed Dealer. They had to replace the RF Hub Module to get it to start. The app works now. They also found that the rear window was leaking, onto the RF hub which finally...

    An incompetent salesman rant

My most memorable buying experienced involved the purchased of a 2009 Charger R/T from a local dealer. While I was completing the paperwork to purchase the vehicle, the Sales "Kid" was sitting in the vehicle reading the Owner's Manual, so he could provide me with an introduction to the vehicle...

Dead in the Driveway; Had to be Haul Away

Sounds like you may be onto something, because I do know there are electric motors on each of the rear rotors. Although it sounds like something I wouldn't want the tow truck driver attempting without some training and guidance.

Dead in the Driveway; Had to be Haul Away

No work around for the electric e-brake release when your truck doesn't have power, but like I said, fix the reason the truck won't start and the brakes will release themselves. They wanted to take me out and show me how to uncheck the auto brake setting in the Uconnect. I told them I could...

Dead in the Driveway; Had to be Haul Away

UPDATES to the UPDATE: 1. Wife wasn't feeling well Saturday morning, so no trip south......yet, and no she isn't pregnant. That ship has sailed. 2. The Dealer said that the old RFHM displayed signs of moisture and corrosion inside, so he sprayed the back window to check for leaks, and yes...
