After car wash- service ESC, trailer brake system, Acc unavailable, front and rear sensors inop

With 38,000 miles and no problems what so ever, I get a wash and driving away all these warning lamps start showing. I drove 3 miles home and parked it for a couple days hoping it will dry out. Started it this morning and still all these warning lamps on. I have it scheduled tonight to drop for...

Snowmobiling - Give me the Good, Bad and Ugly

Nice used sled is more about the condition and maintenance that was done. Low miles does help but I've seen sleds with low miles that are beat up really bad. I used to ride up around Brainerd and Leech lake years ago. Now I'm riding from Siren Wi to Duluth and east towards Hayward.

Snowmobiling - Give me the Good, Bad and Ugly

I have been riding for 30 years and its a blast. Sounds like you need a couple of 2 up sleds. I would look for a couple of nice used sleds and see how you like it before you drop 15,000.00 a pop on new ones. I have always been a BRP guy and have had one Polaris. I like the looks of the ski-doo's...

    Should I get a Topper?

Thanks, its a Leer 100XQ . Leer was the only topper made for the 19 Ram when I was looking. I have had the ARE before and the Leer is a better topper. Fit, finish, just about every aspect.

    Should I get a Topper?

Topper and bed slide is my preference. No more crawling into the bed for something.

    Ceramic coating, yay or nay?

Nay, save the money. Hand wash, mist & shine is more satisfying than handing someone else your money. it looks great for years.

    2019 Front Bumper Install

I put together an estimate for you by photos alone, excluding any hidden damage, it is 1514.21 to replace the front bumper, grille, license bracket. I would stick with oem for resale value and any warranty you might have on the front sensors and related items. When you are hit and run your...

    TRX updates

I have asked my dealer to get me info on the TRX. He does not have any info. Does anyone have anything on, if, when, with what. Hoping that FMC will make the interior as nice as my Longhorn ( Black and Saddle ) and load it up with everything and have the 700 HP motor. That's all I need. I...

    Michelin vs goodyear

Michelin LTX is the way to go. Forget about the money, Ride quality, noise level, traction and braking in wet and snow is what you get. Don't buy tires that say they have longer life ( Mileage ) that's a bunch of sheep dip.

    Is air suspension worth it?

I really love the air ride. I lower it down to entry mode when washing it by hand. I do pull a small skid steer around and it levels off to proper height, no squatting here. Only have had it through 1 MN winter , No problems at all with the air ride or anything on this truck. Its a loaded up...

Stock 20" wheels? Wondering about tire size? Look here.

The best rated tires are the Michelin Defender LTX MS. They look good and have the best ride, noise level, traction, ect. I made the mistake of going to 22s. The ride is not as good as the sidewall is 1 inch shorter. If I could do it over I would stick with the factory 20s and put on the Michelins.

    Bed Storage Alternatives

Bed slide is the best, no climbing in. I have some tool boxes mounted to the right side ( Not in the photo ) One of them is a large tool box just for my tie downs and cables. Best investment in the truck so far besides the topper

Factory paint defect... need advice if I should repaint

The spot looks like it is the color layer and cleared over. If they repair the spot, they will take apart the front and rear door to finish the front door and blend the rear door. Because of the color and where it is located they have to blend the rear door. Silver metallic is one of the most...

    Leer 100XR

I went with the LEER also, I like the way it looks and seems better than my last ARE. I have had these bed slides in my last two trucks and love them. One of them had the bed rug and the slider.

Need your help - Winds took a fence down into my truck

Sorry to hear about your truck. It should be a comp claim with your insurance. Your rates do not go up with a comprehensive claim. Make sure you talk about the wind I did a estimate on your vehicle and if you have the LED lamps ( 550.00 ) then with repair and paint of the box side and lamp is a...

Can I confirm, do I really need running boards/steps in order to prevent rear fender rock chips?

Yep, I did put some clearshield just ahead of the flres on the box side. About 8x8 or so. Fit it between the bodylines in that area

Can I confirm, do I really need running boards/steps in order to prevent rear fender rock chips?

I have mud flaps and running boards and I started to have chips on the front of the rear flares. Installed some cleargaurd and no more chips. Bought the cleargaurd in bulk and put it on the door sill plate area also.
