The ram care advocate from the 1800 number said the Area manager says it’s not covered because of outside influences. And that there’s nothing they can do because that decision is final.
Ram 1800 number suggested I go to another dealer, however all the ones I called here either said “that dealer is married to that truck, it’s two months old” or said they are booked 4-6 months out.
Update time…
Well I just got off the phone with the warranty people at Ram Care. I was told by them that the region manager is sticking with their decision to not fix the truck. They explained that the person had talks with the dealership and that they along with the dealer are recommending...
That’s just it… they aren’t really giving me one. It “sounds” like they are beating around the bush and trying to not blame me. But no one has come out and said that. I called the manufacturer and they recommended getting it towed to a different dealer but no one wants to touch it.
